Our affirmation clothing range is essentially a 'what is says on the tin' concept of children's clothes. Our clothes are an opportunity for us all to tell our younger people just how amazing they are, we know they are and they should know they are. The clothing gives you a chance to personalise their, what we call, 'I ams' whether these be things they feel and are confident with or some that maybe they need that encouragement to have self belief with at times. And ultimately, the clothing is a reminder to them that irrespective of how they feel, what they 'are', they are them. I am me. This is something they should be so so proud of and we want to provide children with the opportunity to explore being proud of who they are and promote a strong and confident sense of self. Their mental well being is so incredibly important and we truly believe that the earlier children have the opportunity to explore their self confidence, worth and pride and to promote positive mental health the better. After all, no one is better at being them, than them. 

This isn't something we offer during the personalisation process of our clothing.  One of the core values of Casey Tilly Designs is sustainability. We work with quality clothing that is ethically and sustainably sourced and manufactured and we are proud to continue this process right through to the products being delivered to customers. The sustainability of our products can live on via clothes being passed on after one, two or however many wearers have outgrown them. We do however offer the option for you to personalise the affirmations you choose as these are more likely to able to be shared amongst others. After all, sharing is caring!

At the minute, Casey Tilly Designs is solely working with children's clothing. The roots of the company are based in the promotion of a positive mental wellbeing in children and affirming their self-belief and confidence is fundamentally what inspired the company. However, this is not to say that this is not something we are looking to potentially branch out to in the future. After all, us grown ups can need that pick me up too. 

We do not offer previews of individual orders. The font used is consistent across all clothing and therefore excerpts of the affirmations are available to be seen throughout the website and the range of photos. We do take the time to carefully review all orders individually and if we come across an issue with the aesthetic, we will get it touch and review the order with you before completion. 

At Casey Tilly Designs, we get asked this question regularly and is something we are really proud of. So buckle up on this one, it's a biggie!

The clothing we use at Casey Tilly Designs is sourced from manufacturer Stanley/Stella. Feel free to have a look at their site as they go into the full details of their operation and the certifications they have achieved through their sustainable work. Their sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of clothing is done responsibly alongside their minimal waste and consumption initiatives. The company is a fair wear foundation member and most of their clothing is made using 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Where this cannot be helped and synthetic fibres are required, their clothing is made using sustainable fibres, meaning these are recycled. The clothing is checked to the highest standard regarding chemical and substance compliance, ensuring the products we sell are safe against human skin as well as managed positively regarding the environment. 

If you've made it this far then well done you for getting through our 'green print'. However there is more! In terms of our processes, we work with environmentally friendly packaging only. By that we mean that all our packaging is either recycled, recyclable or both. Even down to our compostable labels within our packaging. We employ a minimal waste policy here at Casey Tilly Designs. Some aspects of our work unfortunately cannot be carried out using fully eco materials, however these are used sparingly and aspects recycled wherever possible. Notwithstanding, we endeavour to do our bit for the times that we can't so promote you to plant at home and are within the process of employing a tree planting operation here within the company. 

We always endeavour to get orders made and shipped out to customers as quickly as possible. However, we are a small business and pride ourselves on the time our work takes to achieve the quality and personalisation that we offer. That being said, we aim to dispatch items within 2-3 working days from the order being placed. All orders are posted via Royal Mail. Once the order is with the courier, it will be delivered based on their working speeds at that time. If for whatever reason orders will take longer to be made and shipped then you will be informed on the home page of the website, at the point of order or via our social media. 

When it comes to washing the clothing we of course advise to only wash when necessary. We are all becoming more aware of the bits we can all do at home to do our part for the environment and less frequent clothing washes is definitely on the list. However we are also aware of the realities of day to day life with young people and the war they play against things like baked beans for example; we know the beans always come out the winner. So when you do need to give things a rinse, we advise a 30 degree wash with the clothing inside out, no tumble drying or ironing. If the crease fairy has been around (we've all got one), then please iron inside out. 

The 'colour my own' range of clothing is designed to give children the opportunity to explore their creativity through what they wear. We are offering a few designs to chose from, images than have been designed and adapted to facilitate being coloured in however a child choses. These will remain consistent with our affirmation clothing and incorporate our promoting positive mental health. Keep checking in on the site and our social media for new designs and updates. 

We get asked this one a lot and the honest answer is, it’s up to you. The options are endless for how creative you want to get with the t-shirts. Feel free to go wild with glitter fabric paint and get gluing accessories here there and everywhere if that’s what you feel like doing! If you fancy a more subtle apporach, then we advise simple pens. Whether you go for permanent and you get to enjoy your creation on repeat or head for washable pens and relive the colouring experience, that is completely up to you. Either way we know they will look amazing and more importantly we know you will have had an amazing time doing it. Whatever you opt for, enjoy it. 

We offer the option to add a pack of washable pens to your order. These have been tried and tested by some very enthusiastic colouring volunteers. They did come out after a low temp quick wash, a slight haze of the colour remained but they definitely washed out enough to enjoy the colouring experience all over again! So if you were to hypothetically receive a little thank you from us with your order and this thank you hypothetically needed planting and there was a most appropriate hypothetical way of doing this then you would follow these instructions. Hypothetically of course. Cut your seed paper into small pieces and place them into a small container. Add water to the paper until it is completely soaked and then cover with soil. Pop your container in a sunny spot, water daily and enjoy watching it grow. In just a few days, you should see some seeds sprouting and will have started your very own wildflower garden in no time.
